CDP Rules

The CDP has published three sets of rules:

Arbitration rules
Mediation / conciliation rules for general disputes
Mediation rules for employment disputes

The rules are designed to encourage parties and practitioners to conduct the relevant procedure cost effectively and in a timely context.  The mediation rules allow for a flexible approach to the procedure, including options for the parties to ask the mediator to also act as an evaluator or conciliator.

The rules are supported by flexible contract clauses which are made freely available for any business, organisation or professional adviser to incorporate within any contract during the drafting stage.

Independence Integrity Impartiality

The CDP's approach is specialised and inherently flexible, bringing together the optimum combination of process with people who have the experience to ensure that dispute resolution is achieved efficiently, to the satisfaction of all parties.
